Atocha: 1598-1621 Philip III Cob 8 Reales. Date not visible, assayer B for Hernando Ballesteros c1601-05. Recovered from the wreck of the Atocha which struck a reef & sank in a storm near the Florida Keys on 6 Sep 1622. The Atocha was one of the richest treasure ships ever found. T'Vliegenthart: 1733 Ducaton (Silver Rider) Overijssel, Netherlands mm Crane, KM-80. Recovered from the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman T'Vliegenthart which sank off the coast of Zeeland with the loss of all hands on 3rd Feb 1735. This coin was part of the cargo smuggled aboard.
