Long printed letter from a Shipping Merchant regarding freight rates around the world listing dozens of ships available, their destinations, rates for passengers etc. Also talks of Chinese rebels at Nankin, gold bullion prices, Chinese returning from Australia after success in the diggings & complaining about a £10 per head landing fee & more.
