Sword: 1890-1920 Continental Light cavalry or artillery sword. Medium weight lightly curved blade 30mm at hilt, 9mm back strap. Double hilt basket in brass and dual hanger ring brass scabbard (couple of medium dents). Typical period birds head pommel. Compressed brown leather handle without wire binding. (Ridges in leather suggest they may have been present at some stage). Blade length 84cm. Single fuller extending to within 17cm of spear point. No markings or numbers visible. This could be a sleeper!! GC.
