VF.1962 commercial cover (282x225mm) originating in Brisbane & sent via Lae to Western Pacific High Commission, Honiara, Solomon Islands by TAA Air Express Cargo (colourful label affixed), with typed "This Envelope Must Catch The Plane Leaving Lae Tomorrow Morning, 15/5/62, For Honiara". Scarce & expeditious example of document transmission by alternative means to PO. Finally 1975 Cyclone Tracy free mail (12) 20 Feb - 24 Sept (concession ended 1 Oct), comprising cds, slogan (7) & duplex (4) pmks, some Official Departments & advertising covers for Fannie Bay Bakery, Connair, The Saddle Shed etc. Generally good strikes.
