India. Central Internment Camp Private Funds Account note h/s with HALF ANNA & Wing 1 in violet. Attributed to the Prem Nagar or Dehra Dun internment camp, cf. Campbell 5198. Very rare. Wartime camp issue for use in an Indian internment camp holding both Axis prisoners and Indian civilians. Strongly circulated, with heavy wear and small tears.
