WW2 A FINE MENTIONED IN DESPATCHES EFFICIENCY GROUP OF EIGHT. 1939-45 Star, Africa Star w/ clasp "1st Army", Italy Star, Defence Medal 1939-45, War Medal with MID device, all unnamed as issued. 1918-62 GSM (ERII), clasp "Cyprus" impressed "CAPT A.G. PERRIN. R.A. P.C.", Efficiency Medal (GVIR), "TERRITORIAL" with Bar, impressed "LT A.G. PERRIN R.A.S.C". Mounted as worn with matching contemporary miniatures. 1962-2007 GSM, clasp "BORNEO" impressed "CAPT A.G. PERRIN. RAPC." This is a separate medal, not mounted, no miniature. Medals GVF+. C/w a photocopy of a page from the London Gazette, dated 23 September 1943 and an official document from the "Secretory of State for War" both confirming his MID. Copies of the following: War Office document pertaining to "the enclosed Efficiency Medal", his Lieutenant's commission document, dated 15th August 1952 and a letter dated 24th July 1962, from "Brigadier The Hon. M.F. Fitzalan-Howard, CBE, MC... "(King's African Rifles, Kenya) to a "Lieutenant Colonel A.P.H. Hartley, MBE, The Cheshire Regiment..." thanking him for lending Bill Perrin to help with their various Audit Boards. Also included is 2 b/w photographs, one being ID sized, showing Capt. Bill Perrin in uniform, chest up shot, wearing his ribbon bar. The other larger photograph (165x120mm) is a group shot of Perrin with another British officer and 6 African soldiers, all in uniform. Writing to the reverse "5th Bn. King's African Rifles. 1960/1962, The "PAY" office Nanyuki, Kenya". A nice lot.
