WW2 CASED WOUND BADGE IN GOLD MAKER MARKED "107". Zinc base metal with a heavy gilded finish. Finish shows only minor signs of wear. Marked to reverse in raised detail "107" for Carl Wild of Hamburg. Functional "needle type" retaining pin. "C" catch has a very small section (perhaps 1-2mm?) of the end broken off, but still secures pin. Dark maroon leatherette outer case shows moderate wear mostly to the edges. Inner lower case lined with a slightly lighter maroon felt. The ideal medium for displaying a wound badge. Badge Grade II, Case Grade II- (P)
