1913-19 KGV Admiral set ½d-£1, perf/opt SPECIMEN, with the rare 1½d larger opt type W3 issued later, but amazingly other values are all PERFORATED type R5 SPECIMEN instead of opt small SPECIMEN type W2, and some of the stamps are from diff printings to those that are in the normal specimen sets. VF MLH, evenly tropicalized gum. SG 187s, 195s, 197s, 219s, 201s, 210s, 211s, 212s, 213s, 230s, 231s, 232s, 214s, 236s, 237s, 239s, 240s, 241s, 243s cat £3000 for normal opt specimen set while this should be valued at least triple so est £9000+. This set originates from an African colonial postal archive specimen collection and represents a special specimen distribution from 1918-19 period due to administration changes resulting from World War I.
