Disorganised 1917-65 Australia collection/accumulation in five 32-page European stock books and on hagners, mainly 1917-35 period including Kangaroos to 2/- and KGV to 1/-, including perf OS, inverted wmk, various shades and varieties. Many stamps have notations beside them describing the variety; some stamps have been removed in the past but most are still there. Quantities of other KGV 1d (300+), 1½d, 2d orange and red, 1d violet and ultramarine (100+), mostly perfs. Later includes 1938-50 By Authority imprint blocks of 4 (70+), quantities of M/mint pre-decimals, c1960 PO specimen folder with values to 5/- CTO, various States (200+) Also album with WWI and WWII content including 1960-90s RSL and Legacy donation badges, 1914 Ladies Patriotic scarf, Federal matchbox labels 1910s-40s with military themes, 1940 USA China Flying Tigers photos, Feb 9 1943 Guinea Gold WWII paper with war news, WWII ration labels, etc. and some used decimals including high values. Only briefly reviewed, needs rehousing but lots of potential. SG cat £2,000++ = A$4,000++. ACSC cat $5,000++. About 80% G-VFU, 20% F-VF M/MUH, some blemishes. Too disjointed to describe in detail; there will be finds and reserve is conservative.. (3,000+).. |
