1912-21 KGV set 1c-500R, wmk mult crown, with SPECIMEN violet h/s local opt type K3 (22x2.5mm) which was used for presentation sets (instead of the black DLR type opt used for UPU distribution), all in BLOCKS OF FOUR. Superb fresh MUH with pristine never hinged original gum & fantastic bright colors. Scott 40s(var)-59s(var). SG 44s(var)-63s(var) cat £14,400+++ for M singles, should be at least double, £28,800+ MUH, plus premium for the rare violet opts (while normals cat £56,825 for M).
