F/C, 1915 Long Island rare type-set issues but probably forgeries. Marshall Is 1915 GRI 2d on 10pf. Transvaal from 1870s Arms to 1/-. Mostly F-VF M/MUH/U, mixed condition in earlies. SG cat £6000+ = A$10,000, plus the Boer War cat £4000, the Long Island cat £6000+ & the Natal F/C high cat £28,000 as normal U etc. (270) (P)

1934 England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race unofficially carried GB KGV 1½d envelope with '18 OC 34' cds, plus Australia KGV 2d red for return to England tied by 'Melbourne 25 OC 34' pmk. Also letter from Dutch pilot Parmentier agreeing to sign the cover, which he & co-pilot Moll have done on flap, suggesting this was carried by them unofficially with only 4 covers flown this way. Also a contemporary photo of them & a printed card regarding a forced landing in Albury. AAMC 444(var). (P)

1934 MacRobertson Air Race cover carried by the KLM DC2 'Uiver' Holland-Australia, franked KGV 1d & Victoria Cent 2d, tied by 'Sydney 14 NOV 1933' machine pmk, being a printed KLM cover for return to Holland of a flight cover that this was folded inside of, with 'KLM Uiver' Melbourne cachet b/s.
