1914-18 Mentioned in the Official History of the War, Interesting pair of medical scissors with a tale. Attributed to an event mentioned in 'The Official History of the War' Vol 4. C/w small typed descriptive card 'Scissors from a German Plane brought down behind the Lines May 2nd 1917' The day prior to the Bullecourt Offensive - they were handed to the RAP, 23rd Batt. Mention of the plane is contained in The Official History of the 1914-1918 War, Page 429 Vol IV. A perfect display item with an attributable story. Excellent condition. |
