Pocket Knives: British & Commonwealth folding knives (4) from ca WWII. Two diff Naval issue & 2 diff Army. The large, all metal knife is a Canadian Navy issue made by M.S. Ltd XX & Canadian Government marked. Nice condition. Blade has all the cross graining & never sharpened. Believed to be made with stainless steel & are based on the WWI Army design but in all steel with a sheep's foot style blade. The chequered alloy handle all metal deck knife was issued to all Commonwealth Sailor's (inc RAN) & some specialised AIF units. Undated. Nice condition. The all metal knife dated 1945 is the British issue jungle knife. Blade has been sharpened. Comes with knife lanyard. The Bakelite handle knife is the standard post 1939 Army issue knife & is undated. The blade is well worn. Faint Government markings on the can opener & spike. Good lot of ca WWII pattern knives. The RCAN deck knife & the jungle knife are hard to find. (5) |
