Pocket Knives: Collection of 25 diff knives & an Indonesian Ken's dagger in wooden sheath. Three of the knives are Military pattern & are of the all metal type. One is Royal Navy (also RAN) pattern deck knife (no dates or Military marks). Another is the WWII Whitingslowe clasp knife. The third is an Australian issue 1990 dated clasp knife. Amongst the Commercial knives noticed 2 nice bell hook pocket knives with bone handles (IXL George Wostenholm, Sheffield & Joseph Rogers, Sheffield). The latter has an unusual curved handle (left handed?). Also noticed a knife by Taylor, Sheffield with a hooked metal cover over a corkscrew & spike - unusual (it seems to be missing one of the two small removable tools in the handle). Lot also inc old/cheap souvenir knife of Turkey & Egypt & an impressive Swiss Army type knife. All knives are used. Some may be damaged or missing parts but compensated for by a number of interesting knives with quality & age. (26) |
