USA. Bayonet 1867 socket with scabbard identified as being for the Peabody Rifle. No markings visible to the blade or scabbard. Scabbard is scuffed in places but is sound with tight stitching. The socket is pitted overall, the blade shows age & minor pitting. Scabbard is about 480mm, comp bayonet is 555mm long. |
