Germany. Army 1915 pony hide backpack with shoulder straps & 3 pocket Mauser ammo pouch. Backpack is marked to 'Train Abt13'. Pack & shoulder straps are 1915 dated. Hide has about 40% of fur remaining. 2 internal buckles of the pack have been repaired. WWI backpack straps are hard to find & often missing. Ammo pouch is also 1915 dated & 'SA' marked (for use by Finnish Army). Rawhide dividers removed from 2 pouches. Stitching reinforced with rivets & some straps replaced. Well used. (2) |
