Army. WWI era pith helmet with brass Rising Sun on slider, sweatband & liner present but mostly detached (needs work to reattach), no top air vent cover. Made by GR Embelton & Co Melbourne, written to interior is '8th Light Horse AIF'. No puggaree has ever been fitted to this helmet. Very difficult to differentiate between WWI & WWII helmets. Poor-Fair condition. |
