21221 Click for more photos | RAF. 1942-45 Type 'C' (2nd issue) Flying Helmet with oxygen/microphone mask. 2nd issue 'C' originally unwired, but evidently wired 'in the field'. 3 x press-studs (for Type 'E' & 'G' masks). Chamois lined brown leather (no maker marks evident) with Bennett Buckle chin strap. Comp with all wiring & bell-shaped plug, Type 'G' mask (Air Ministry marked) with Type 48 Mike (AM Ref No 10A/12570), less concertina oxygen tube. Scuff & service wear to leather. Mask with split at nose & without its wire bridge support. O/A VGC. A scarce British issue displaying much service wear | SOLD at A$500 | ||
