Police blue Bobby's helmet, pre 1952, Metropolitan Police with brass & chrome GVIR helmet plate. Has brass top decoration & brass rose ornamental band around the lower body. Some damage to front peak, this could be stiffened from the inside without detracting from what is a lovely wartime helmet. chin strap present but detached on one side. Fair condition. Nice with lower brass band. |
