Army. - Boer War era. Australian Field Artillery (AFA) Officer's Ceremonial blues Parade 3/4 jacket in wool twill cloth, 36'' chest. Bursting Bomb Australian Artillery brass collar badges. 1900-1912 Queen's Crown Artillery brass buttons by Stillwell & Son London. Large (5 to front), small (2 to breast pocket flaps, 2 to epaulettes). Brass Ds (2). AFA brass shoulder titles on red piped epaulettes. With later pr RA trousers. 'ADELAIDE' on hanging loop at back of collar. Evidence of Officer's rank brass pips/crown on epaulettes. No name tag found. Minor moth damage, small hole to base of left breast pocket, 2 or 3 minor holes. Minor hole on left sleeve. Missing rank badges. VGC for age. Freshly dry-cleaned. A Boer War era Officer's blue Parade jacket with correct buttons, shoulder titles (AFA) & Artillery collars. (2 items) |
