Army. AIF WWII, 1940 dated khaki wool tunic. Manufactured by G & J Clothing Company. All matching buttons, Australia titles, Corporal stripes & 2 blue Overseas Service stripes, missing Rising Suns. Tunic is named on tailor's label to 'K.E. McMonigal' NX 135555. Found on card inside pocket K.E. McMonigal 73A.A. Battery Mobile Searchlight, later 2/2nd A.A. Battery Port Moresby. Also found in pocket 2 colour patches RAA, AA, with a pr of 1945 dated service dress trousers. Beautiful condition AIF dated tunic. |
