Army. Australia. WWII era Staff Sergeant in the Engineers. Tailor made service dress jacket with no label or name inside. 4 external pockets, stand & fall collar with hooks/eyes, pointed V on cuffs & provision for a cloth belt (which is missing). Oxidised KC rising sun collars, KC oxy map of Australia buttons, oxidised AUSTRALIA titles & oxidised KC crown & flaming bomb. Sergeant stripes are cloth & heavily frayed (replacement stripes are in top pocket). Sweat stains to back of collar & cuffs. Moderate/light wear overall. No damage (except to stripes). An honest service worn jacket from WWII. |
