Army. 1939-45. Long Range Desert Group (LRDG. - later the Special Air Service Regt ) camouflage over smock. Light cotton with sand/pink camouflage patches, 3/4 length secured by Newey patent press-studs, clips at lower front & on sides enable the front to be clipped back allowing freedom of movement for legs. Integral 'hump' to rear to accommodate the side pack when worn in Battle Order, small pocket to front intended to house hand grenade for immediate use. Good, large size no marking evident. Minor tear to front pocket & minor stains. VGC. Very scarce camo over smock, intended for wear over top of equipment. |
