Leslie William McMillan, Stockman of Gilgandra, NSW, enl Lismore 6/10/1914, 'B' Sqn, 5 Light Horse Regt, to Lemnos 6/9/1915 but contracted enteritis & sent to hospital in UK, transferred to 31st Infantry Bn & operations France & Flanders from 2/10/1916, promoted Corporal 1/10/1917. Returned to Australia 19/4/1918 & discharged. Comp with his Active Service & Pay book. With copies of archive file. gVF. Medals all named 5th Light Horse. |
