George Patrick Latta, born Moonee Ponds, Vic, 1922 enl. AIF at Naval Base Camp, WA 21/1/1943 to South West Pacific Area with 16th Small Ships Company RAE. Disch 1946, re-enlisted 10/9/1956, RAAOC, Bandiana, disch 1977. Together with his post war khaki wool beret (by Kent) with an original, woven, Small Ships company colour patch. Also a printed cloth pennant 'AV. 1354 Brudenell White'. Court mounted for wear. aEF. |
