F J Sirman, Shrops L.I.'; Plaque 'FREDERICK JOHN SIRMAN'. comp with the 'King's Letter' & card box of issue & original, numbered, Royal Arsenal Receipt of Delivery card (unfilled) No.'879798'. Also with a Pensions Office letter & black bordered envelope & a KSLI badge converted to brooch fitting. Private Frederick John Sirman served with 6th Bn. KSLI, KIA 23/03/1918. No known grave, commem on Pozieres Memorial. With a card box which family kept medals in. On original ribbons, mounted as worn by N.O.K. aEF. Nice comp lot with CWGC print-out. |
