Adrian Charles Moreing, born 1892, educated Winchester College & Trinity College, Cambridge, appointed 2nd Lieut. 1/3rd (City of London, Royal Fusiliers) Battalion, London Regt 1912, Lieut, 1914, Act Capt 1915, Capt 1916, 'Specially Employed' 1917-19, member of Parliament for Preston, Lancashire from 1931-40, Conservative Party politician, interestingly, upon his death in 1940 he was succeeded in his seat for Preston by Randolph Churchill, the son of the then Prime Minster, Winston Churchill.
