1940 Film box parcel (plastic with leather hinges, 190x190x50mm) sent via 'North Atlantic & Trans-Pacific Air Service' to Department of Information, Melbourne, (22 Oct). Extraordinary franking of KGVI 101- dark blue (40) & missing a single 5/- that paid 90 x 4/6 per ½oz rate. Customs labels for 367 feet of film on front, plus Export of Goods (control) order 1940 label under stamps on back. Stamp News article from 2007 included. (P)
