Mark Antony. Autumn 32 to spring 31 BC. Silver Legionary Denarius (3.26g). Patrae (?) mint. Praetorian galley right / Aquila between two signa; LEG XIIII across lower field. Crawford 544/28; CRI 370; Sydenham 1233; RSC 43. Very attractive old cabinet toning. gVF for the type. For a similar quality example of the same type see; CNG Auction 525, lot 851, hammered US$650.
