Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust left, seen from the front / Theodosius II, nimbate, standing facing in military dress, head left, raising right hand and holding globe; star to left, CON in exergue. RIC X 370; RSC 20a. A quite beautiful coin with lovely old cabinet toning, and one of the finest known examples of the type. |
