1671 Click for more photos	1856 Typeset Provisional Ship 4c black on BLUE surface coloured paper, initialled 'E.D.W.' of E D Wright. FU appearance with 'Demerara 5 SP 1856' cds, coloured surface with some small tiny touched up areas as almost always for stamps of this issue, cut to shape octagonally (exactly like the world famous 1c magenta! But in fact much nice than that stamp). Scott 15 cat US$150,000. SG 26 cat £150,000. Only around 15 examples are recorded & of those almost all either have major faults or are cut to shape like this example. One of the great classic rarities of the British Empire. 1672 Click for more photos	1856 Typeset Provisional Ship 4c black on ROSE-CARMINE surface coloured paper, initialled 'E.D.W.' of E D Wright. VFU appearance with 'Demerara 17 SP 1856' cds, small central thin, excellent deep colour with perfect paper surface, cut square with mostly large margins. Scott 14a cat US$40,000.
