c1896 Sporting Prize fob for Diving. Presented by A Horden & Sons Palace Emporium Haymarket Sydney. Obv Man diving into water, view of water before rock. 2 part construction, coloured porcelain applied to s/s Fob, 16.72g. Hallmarked, for Birmingham, 1896, produced by Rolason Bros. gVF. Other similar sporting fobs, also issued by Horden's, are known, all are rare. See Status sale 282, lot 6679 for a (similar) Cycling fob.

c19th Victorian Railways Free Pass to 'The Hon W Highett MLC'. Obv railway, pastoral, agricultural & mining scene, rev crown & engraving. Silver 10.3g, oval 36x25mm. Holed for suspension. VF. William Highett was an early purchaser of land in Richmond & lived there. The suburb of Highett is named after him. Member from 1853-56 & May 1857-80. Rare. (P)
