Banco de Espana, 1000 Pesetas, 22 November 1957 (issued 1958), Green and multicolour design with the crowned busts of King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile at centre. Reverse with ornate guilloche patterns and large denomination numerals. This example is in UNC condition, with crisp paper, sharp corners, and vivid inks. A comparable example was sold by Stack?s Bowers Galleries in June 2023 for US$260 (hammer price). Pick 149a.
