Colombia: Sante Fe (Neuvo Reino) Mint Philip IV (1621-1665) cob 4 Reales, 1653 (full date), assayer POR (CC type 127, date not listed). 12.82g. aVF, sl seawater pitting as expected, full date, mm and assayer mark with unusually large flan. KM-10.1 cat US$5000 for non-shipwreck coin. One of the rarest coins from this wreck with only several known. This coin would have been part of money in the possession of passengers or crew, not from the treasure chests. Struck Segovia 8 Reales are very rare, such a cut coin is possibly unique.
